The terrorists have used fallen brothers and sisters of US military men as a way to cause more death rigging dead bodies with explosives and lethal ordnance killing anyone who may try to take them from where they lay. These events have changed the way war is fought by the US Military which has become the only force that is capable of policing the world which most presidents of the past have tried to avoid as much as possible. With the events in Iraq of them going into the war with presumptions that weapons of mass destruction (namely Biological weapons) were in the hands of the fallen dictator, and them subsequently finding that there was none was a true humiliation of the intelligence and information gathering methods of their many military branches and analysts.
The people have again turned against the war effort wanting their sons sent home from the battlefields of Iraq with the government continuing to provide suppressing information that they are continuing to make progress even as soldiers and civilians continue to die in the several places they are assigned to. The war may never end and it may even end with the troops being sent home without establishing the peace they started out to create in the first place. The morality of these events will be debated and argued about by the people back home and those who served in these campaigns for many years that would come and can be the signal for a change in the US government’s leadership making it one of the deciding grounds for the fight in spreading democracy to people who have never heard of the word nonetheless understand the implications of its concepts.
It may never be resolved, for they themselves hate each other enough to prevent them from living side by side. Their philosophy of self rule is sure to return them to the initial state they were in before the drive to initiate democracy started leaving the deaths of American servicemen as meaningless as hell. They might as well send their men and women home to spare their lives from the unsolvable internal conflicts that are currently continuing to shape the current status of the country.
