These are only some of the best and top philosophers of all time from the whole of written history. Most of the best early philosophers were Greek who are known to have formulated and laid the tracks for future philosophers. Mostly from Europe where people had a quite unique view of life and the way we influence it. Many of them have had works in other fields of the sciences such as Rene Descartes who was also considered a brilliant mathematician.
They are said to have become the best of the best due to their influence on the way people think through their works and writings. Others are known for their parts in the making of history themselves for they have influenced many a race and governments with their philosophical views.
Modern philosophers are spread all over the world due to increasing awareness of the way people think the way they want to rather than to conform with the rest of society. Most of these philosophers have been treated with disgust during their time with due accord only attained long after their lives. The way they think and look at life dictated a lot of history’s memorable events and political overtures making them some of the most influential figures of all time regardless of nationality or geographic location like the book Leviathan by Hobbes and Mill’s, Utilitarianism which is known to have influenced the way governments are formed and selected by governments and many more.
