Employing a New Business Philosophy

If any of you have a new business philosophy to adapt these days then I am sure that many people will want to hear it. Traditional business philosophies are surely no longer in play as we see most companies groping for form, baffled by the turn of events that has gone as far as victimizing the big companies, finance and investing companies at that, to which the call for new philosophy in business is a dire need.

But while many of these companies are trying to hold back their fears and current crop of business strategies, a new business philosophy is bound to ensue. Sure, this current state we find ourselves in is only temporary but it is also something that many find more than challenging. One wrong move and you may find your company filing for Chapter 11 or better known as “Bankruptcy”.

This is the last thing you would want and for sure, stable companies do not have this in mind. The needs to employ new business strategies through proper observation of the market and consumer behavior is a need to which new philosophies will surely come up.

Some may point to them as useless and even senseless. But at the rate that things are holding up these days, new blood from new ideas is a dire need. Some may not want to admit it but rather than hear that their company is closing shop, new business philosophies are the best recourse today.

Observe the two candidates today, John McCain and Barrack Obama, and you will find contradicting philosophies. In fact, you may be surprised at the fact that they do not agree at all on a lot of aspects such as global warming and the oil supply issue. If you were a voter, one of these two things would be important to you. So if you were in the position of McCain or Obama, which would you target?

Well before anything else, it also depends on what you believe in. Both have used them as part of their agenda whenever they come out and speak in front of the territories to where they are campaigning. In debates and their advertising mediums, you will find that they emphasize on these points, hoping that they will click and become heroes in the eyes of voters, if and when they win the elections.

The philosophy of one is different from another. A lot of factors such as cultural, social and technology factors come into play as far as concluding a philosophical summary of what things people would care about.

In politics, the philosophy of the overall leader will be closely monitored. For one, it will be a measure of his competency and how well he can drive a nation. These are pretty big shoes to fill and if you think about it, one minor error could lead to disaster as far as voter confidence is concerned.

In philosophy, do what you believe in and not what others want you to do for them. Doing so may put you in a position where you may eventually regret trying to be who you are not.

Not all businessmen are gifted with the right business philosophy and some may even question it. But in the minds of most people today, it would be best to stick to it and perhaps tweak it a bit so that they can be able to improve on whatever basic philosophy they have in mind.

There will be ideas thrown at you and experience to boot. Taken altogether, you can enhance you own beliefs and philosophy and mold it to one effective business model to which you will be the victor in the end. One’s philosophy is not always similar to others and for it to work, only a person who has conceptualized it will be able to make it do wonders.

There are people who will copy and take their own philosophy based on the default facts that they may inherit from you. But along the way, there will be differences and this includes either improving or wrecking it. But as long as it works for you, stick to it. Not many people have a standing philosophy in business and these days, you have to be ready to defend it and put it to good use at the maximized potential possible.

For every person, including yuppies and aspirants, there will always be something up for criticism. The main basis here is results. Some look for long-term goals while others want it immediately. Whatever the case may be, it just remains that personal philosophies in business will have their time to shine and depend on the person who implements them with confidence and trust.

Each person has his own set of beliefs to which his personal philosophy will work on. Some may agree while others contradict it. But while that is a given in this crazy world you just have to respect a person for what he believes in even if it may seem awkward and weird. In short, it is not about determining if it is right or wrong. It is about holding true to your word on what you believe in and caring less on logical definitions since in most cases, the real reason would lie on the fact that they have personal supporting facts to go by it.

One fact here is experience. While we all know the standard philosophies that we read and are advised of, it remains that there will always be loopholes that may differ our overall understanding. Among them include rare instances where one’s philosophy is entirely different from another. This has been proven. Like for example in business, it does not always follow that constant advertising will reap you attention. You have to look further at the crowd you are showing the ad to. If they don’t respond then you have just thrown out millions of dollars.

In personal instances, being around and showing a person how much you care for them cannot always be appreciated. In fact, it has been proven that the only time a person is appreciated is when they are gone. Late as it may be, but that is reality we all experience.

Personal philosophies differ each day. It is just a matter of respecting them for their own separate reasons for believing in them that way.

Philosophies Change in Politics

When you get into politics for the first time, chances are you will be in for quite a shock. Politicians have a lot to do as far as adjustments in lifestyle is concerned and apparently it can go as far as changing personal philosophies. In the political world, you need to be alert and open to conflicts and interests. Much of the people around you may not always be whom they claim to be.

If you heard the phrase that politics is a dirty game then heed that warning. In politics there are no stops. People can easily pretend which makes it suitable for actors. There are a lot of bad beliefs on politics which make it ideally made for people who can handle the pressure. Just consider these things that politics has been known for:

1. Graft and Corruption
2. Power Abuse
3. Scams
4. Lack of Priorities

Indeed a political philosophy can be easily written. Just like a script in the movies, you need a good platform and likewise a strong personality. Being in politics for the first time will teach you how to be more public relations oriented. In politics you need this if you are to get the nod and trust of voters in your area.

Your personal philosophy is bound to change when you are in politics. Some people are made for it, while others have to adjust accordingly. So if you think you can handle both worlds of personal and professional philosophies, you are bound to get a lot of sleepless nights doing it.

Sticking to your own belief, regardless if it is by profession or through personal reasons is something no one can take away from us. Personal philosophy does not need to be commercialized to prove that we are right. Our own theories are based on what we have already proven to ourselves and that alone is enough to stand by them. Unlike many, one’s philosophy does not need to be adopted by another. Personality and outlook of two people are different and hence will carry different philosophies as well.

Compare yourself with another person. Or better yet with your brothers or sisters. While you all come from the same parents, your values and personal beliefs will not always coincide. Experience and beliefs based on what you see in the course of your growth build different perspectives and apparently you will live on your own beliefs separately. Whatever principles and beliefs you may have does not always become logical for them since you both have different perceptions based on built philosophies in life.

To illustrate, just compare careers. If one follows a routine desk job, the other may want to follow a different perspective like perhaps a more people-oriented path such as politics or sales. Some call it rivalry while others just want to discover new ways outside the traditional and proven methods. It is all about building on new philosophies which are not proven yet. These are normally cases where a person wants to prove to himself and to others that other personal philosophies can make or break what they want to develop.

Philosophy in the Eyes of Many

One’s words are not enough to gather the trust and belief of most people. That is perhaps what best describes why most people would want to stick to beliefs based on more than one claim. For example, stating a fact on current social trends according to the viewpoint of one person is not immediately concurred by another for the reason that he wants to gather further support and backup for the claim. Such facts may include as acknowledging that social networking is the new way of expanding ties or that online dating is the new way of hooking up. Taken as a whole, people only believe once they are proven.

Theories and claims are not always believable especially when they are fresh. Another aspect is the stature of the person, regardless if he has higher studies. Fame is the only thing that can make a simple statement reliable and for the unknown people, don’t expect to get immediate credit for anything. These are all common traits that we have garnered from society and it doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon.

Take it from the early philosophers. Most of them in the early ages were perhaps laughed at for their claims. Not until their philosophical theories were ratified and proven were they acknowledged and we all know that when that time comes, they may have already passed away to stand tall for their claims. Philosophy does seem to be rewarding but only after some time. When they do, you can be assured that your name will be on everyone’s minds.

Stick To Your Philosophy

Each person will have his or her own share of philosophical beliefs as far as principles are concerned. Once they are exposed or find themselves with friends or peers, there will be times that they will be tempted to alter some of these principles since they want to belong. As much as possible don’t resort to that. While it is true that you may have differences with other people, it remains that you have to stick to your own principles and values. If they work for you since you started believing in them, then why change them?

This personal philosophy covers a wide area for anyone. It may entail business decisions to personal ones. While you may find the beliefs of others as effective for themselves, remember that the same may not necessarily hold true to yourself. It is all about how you approach it. Personal philosophies may vary but are really meant to be unique for anyone these days. That is simply something that has to be put in mind.

For some, doing this may go as far as affecting relationships and socialization. People will look at you in a different light which may not necessarily be favorable. This should not bother you as a person. Just because someone else disagrees or is not at all comfortable with your philosophy means that you have to change for them. Even married couples experience this. While some would change in the initial parts of their union, you will find that they eventually fall back to the known principles that they had initially been known for. Personal philosophies are simply hard to alter especially once they are inherited and gotten accustomed to.
