Many of us have so far been exposed to people who follow a different religion. Along with this comes different customs and traditions. While we may tag them as friends and associates, taking it to the next level such as personal and intimate relationships may not necessarily be a good idea.
For one, the count of people who get along without conflicts of interest such as religious practices or customary family traditions are rising in numbers. The ability to adjust accordingly and fit in is often the most criticized aspect of it all. There are some people who lower their pride and hit it off but the question of sincerity will often follow suit. In short, adjusting to one another is one thing but prolonging it is another.
Most people today have to deal with this, particularly for people who get drawn into the opposite sex for one reason or another. But you will see through divorces and separations that many people fail to work it out, particularly because they don’t want to give way. Hard as they may want to fend it off, it remains that such issues are easier said than done.
There is no philosophical belief that would rescind people from wanting to be with one another. There will always be barriers and often the challenge is to break them down. In marriages and relationships, that is a tough task to conquer. But there are exceptions and all of these are overcome in time.
Today we are all sticking to the usual philosophies of trying to survive. It is apparent that we are now at the stage of being tempted to go beyond our principles thanks to the hard times. Many are trying to live up to their principles but it should not be surprising when all of these personal philosophies suddenly find themselves out of the window.
Such is the situation that we all find ourselves in. Times are hard and despite such philosophical beliefs and traditions through the years, the fact remains that some adjustments that include having to suck up our pride and live according to how we can today is apparent.
People who are hard-headed and want to stick to their original philosophies are commendable. But it has been months now and the future looks bleaker by the day. We see the realities of an economic catastrophe and even the big names in the business and entrepreneurial industry are following suit. Given all these factors, how long can we hold out before we admit that we must make the necessary moves to adhere towards wise living moves?
It is not easy to go back on your original personal philosophy. Some would even call it sheepish. But today you just have to make the adjustments and find a way to survive. Pride certainly will not help and if people are mature and rational, they would agree that today is not the best time to be hardheaded.
We have heard through various news mediums that most companies are feeling the pinch of the hard times and that a lot of them are laying of workers one by one. However the good news is that there are some companies that are still opening their doors for potential jobs. The bad thing is that they are putting into priority local people rather than foreign workers.
What is the philosophy behind it all? It is really quite simple. Why turn to the foreign workers if you have local talent to fill them up? It is not a complicated theory. Local residents need to be given the priority regardless if better qualified people are available abroad.
If there is one thing that should be addressed that is to build economies with local talent. There are groups that believe that the best people for a job come from other countries which is really debatable. There are local people who can fill up these jobs and in most cases, they are overlooked.
Countries have their own educational systems which often produce good manpower options. The problem is that some of them choose to go abroad for better compensation. But this was yesterday’s news.
Today, such is a limited option and with the declaration that foreign workers will be cut, perhaps these graduates should test the local markets for the time being and put their expertise to work. This can even signal a better output in applying their various philosophies to help their local country’s current problems.
These months are not really the best time to consider investing anything at all. But while that is a simple hearsay, would you pass up the opportunity to buy certain stocks such as General Motors being priced at outrageously low ones today? For sure there are a lot of stocks that are worthy to invest in but apparently, investors are still waiting for the right time.
Waiting is a strong word. Up to when will you wait? The crazy prices that they are right now are bound to increase at some point and hence, the philosophy or proper reading of stock market trends has to be done. Not all people can do this alone. You still need the aid of an actual broker to help guide you in buying the right shares. But where can you find the trusty brokers who seem hell bent to close sales and make sure that they are liquid as well.
The philosophical advantage of it all is that today is a point where you may no longer trust anyone but yourself. You have the cash reserves to invest but apparently want to avoid to let go unless you are sure a definite trend of better things to come suffices.
There are irregular spikes today but they are still inconsistent. If you were to invest today, it would be best to scale your cash on hand. Do not invest it all and only consider investing if you have money to spare. It is the best you can do if you want to end up with a win-win situation.
We often meet a lot of people in different places and for sure, the initial impressions will always last, as they always say. But for some people, initial impressions may not always tell the generalization of a person, most of the time because people are playing coy and would like to save revealing their inner selves when the time is right.
These people are the ones who have mastered the art of deception. Not intentionally for sure but the fact remains, people have to play on the safe side especially if you talk about trust and loyalty among others. There are some who tend to brave the unknown, placing trust immediately based on the course of certain modes of communication such as conversations or initial meetings. It is risky but depending on the personality of one human being, this can be traced to upbringing and local culture, two factors that mold people into how they are outside their safety zone.
To most, it is a hit and miss experiment. They get their share of deceptive sharks while others are right from the very first day. As you can see, these approaches have their share of positive and negative impacts and if you want to measure which is given more weight, there is really not factual count.
There is nothing wrong with trusting people from the moment you meet them. But always keep you mind open as the tide of your initial bond can either grow or break as fast as you made it happen.
During the time of Martin Luther King Jr., we can recall how rowdy most of us were as far as colored presidents were concerned. King was certainly disliked and even lead to his assassination in April 4, 1968. He was standing at the second floor balcony of the Lorraine Motel when he was shot.
It is no secret that majority of the people back then had a thing for the blacks. But today, we find ourselves on the verge of having another black President in the person of Barrack Obama.
But unlike before, we do not see rowdy people cursing and threatening Obama. That is excluding John McCain, his opponent of course who has used advertising mediums to get some leverage as far as their race is concerned. Apparently we see that it is all for naught as Obama is still leading thus far and officially.
Anyway, with all the discriminations left in the past, we are in a new era where political philosophy seems to be entirely better. It is more about what the person can provide rather than what he looks like. It has been a philosophy that we normally believe in even in real life. So if a black president can lead us to better tomorrows then why not?
So as long as we are in the era of being more rational and livid, let us keep it that way. We need all the help we can get and it does not matter if you are black or white!
