Observe the two candidates today, John McCain and Barrack Obama, and you will find contradicting philosophies. In fact, you may be surprised at the fact that they do not agree at all on a lot of aspects such as global warming and the oil supply issue. If you were a voter, one of these two things would be important to you. So if you were in the position of McCain or Obama, which would you target?
Well before anything else, it also depends on what you believe in. Both have used them as part of their agenda whenever they come out and speak in front of the territories to where they are campaigning. In debates and their advertising mediums, you will find that they emphasize on these points, hoping that they will click and become heroes in the eyes of voters, if and when they win the elections.
The philosophy of one is different from another. A lot of factors such as cultural, social and technology factors come into play as far as concluding a philosophical summary of what things people would care about.
In politics, the philosophy of the overall leader will be closely monitored. For one, it will be a measure of his competency and how well he can drive a nation. These are pretty big shoes to fill and if you think about it, one minor error could lead to disaster as far as voter confidence is concerned.
In philosophy, do what you believe in and not what others want you to do for them. Doing so may put you in a position where you may eventually regret trying to be who you are not.
One thing apparently missing in whatever we do, both personally and professionally is the lack of ethics. Actually, the phrase “Don’t Trust Anyone” seems to be the easiest way to sum it all up and this includes relatives and friends. There are apparently a lot of factors that have lead to this and much of it includes money and power. Some may not admit it but the evils that these two have are apparently given more weight than traditional ethics among people who should trust each other.
Apparently families in some parts of the world have lost the true meaning of family ties. Living and financial survival is all that matters today. And thanks to the crisis and inflation plaguing any part of the world, this seems to be the trend as far as personal survival is concerned.
So if this is the case, why push for ethics when it is eventually being written off? Indeed much of this has been the doing of man himself. No longer can you afford to freely trust someone who has not intention for his own. At the end, there will always be some form of benefit and reward. This is something that will definitely be a reward and normally it includes money and properties.
So while we are all wondering where ethics has gone, much of it has gone to the new philosophies we have all instilled in ourselves. It is not pretty but it is a reality and we just have to face the facts surrounding it.
Not all businessmen are gifted with the right business philosophy and some may even question it. But in the minds of most people today, it would be best to stick to it and perhaps tweak it a bit so that they can be able to improve on whatever basic philosophy they have in mind.
There will be ideas thrown at you and experience to boot. Taken altogether, you can enhance you own beliefs and philosophy and mold it to one effective business model to which you will be the victor in the end. One’s philosophy is not always similar to others and for it to work, only a person who has conceptualized it will be able to make it do wonders.
There are people who will copy and take their own philosophy based on the default facts that they may inherit from you. But along the way, there will be differences and this includes either improving or wrecking it. But as long as it works for you, stick to it. Not many people have a standing philosophy in business and these days, you have to be ready to defend it and put it to good use at the maximized potential possible.
For every person, including yuppies and aspirants, there will always be something up for criticism. The main basis here is results. Some look for long-term goals while others want it immediately. Whatever the case may be, it just remains that personal philosophies in business will have their time to shine and depend on the person who implements them with confidence and trust.
When you get into politics, your world is bound to change a lot. For one, you have to be careful on what you say, who you talk to and how you live your lifestyle. All eyes will be on you and knowing how dirty the game of politics is, one false move will invite a lot of vultures feasting on your mistakes.
This applies to all levels of public office. Don’t think that if you are at the bottom of the heap that you will not be noticed. There are audits conducted since as we all know, graft and corruption are two of the main things that politics is famous for. For controlling groups, it is imperative that they put a stop to it and monitor how people in office are able to garner hidden wealth.
In a manner of speaking, you may say that philosophies are thrown out of the window as far as public service is concerned. No matter how sincere you may be, if you do not follow the game of political philosophy, you will end up like a lost sheep looking for proper ways to put yourself back into harness.
This is not to generalize. There are people who have been able to handle the dirty games and tactics of being in political power. But one thing you will note, a needed transformation of going beyond personal philosophy may be in order. If there is a case of being unable to adapt to philosophical standards then politics is the area hit by it.
Each person has his own set of beliefs to which his personal philosophy will work on. Some may agree while others contradict it. But while that is a given in this crazy world you just have to respect a person for what he believes in even if it may seem awkward and weird. In short, it is not about determining if it is right or wrong. It is about holding true to your word on what you believe in and caring less on logical definitions since in most cases, the real reason would lie on the fact that they have personal supporting facts to go by it.
One fact here is experience. While we all know the standard philosophies that we read and are advised of, it remains that there will always be loopholes that may differ our overall understanding. Among them include rare instances where one’s philosophy is entirely different from another. This has been proven. Like for example in business, it does not always follow that constant advertising will reap you attention. You have to look further at the crowd you are showing the ad to. If they don’t respond then you have just thrown out millions of dollars.
In personal instances, being around and showing a person how much you care for them cannot always be appreciated. In fact, it has been proven that the only time a person is appreciated is when they are gone. Late as it may be, but that is reality we all experience.
Personal philosophies differ each day. It is just a matter of respecting them for their own separate reasons for believing in them that way.
The goal of any site owner is to get hits or traffic, whichever is more convenient to note. But to get them, marketing tactics similar to businesses in the modern day must be used. Sites rack in traffic through word of mouth or better yet, the various Search Engine techniques like link building, commenting and social bookmarking. If you want to put up a good site, the key is making it found through the readers.
Another virtue in Internet Philosophy is the element of time. A site normally takes a month to be crawled and included in the search engines, assuming you have submitted it and done the normal practices of building links towards your site. The task is not easy. There are established sites who may not care about your site and hence is a gamble as far as getting the nod of incoming links.
Search engines such as Google assess your site and make sure that links are qualitative and relevant to your site. So when you build links make sure they have something to do as far as your site is concerned.
Site submission is something that is important as well. You must make sure that the proper category is chosen to ensure that you are in the right area of concern.
The same goes for social bookmarking. You have to be careful in submitting and making sure you gain the interest of other social bookmarkers. Make friends and vote for other bookmarks as well. This way, they know you are not only there for the attention.
Put all these thing together and you will have gotten majority of the essence of the philosophy of the Internet. The next thing you will know, your site is among the tops on the web.
When you get into politics for the first time, chances are you will be in for quite a shock. Politicians have a lot to do as far as adjustments in lifestyle is concerned and apparently it can go as far as changing personal philosophies. In the political world, you need to be alert and open to conflicts and interests. Much of the people around you may not always be whom they claim to be.
If you heard the phrase that politics is a dirty game then heed that warning. In politics there are no stops. People can easily pretend which makes it suitable for actors. There are a lot of bad beliefs on politics which make it ideally made for people who can handle the pressure. Just consider these things that politics has been known for:
1. Graft and Corruption
2. Power Abuse
3. Scams
4. Lack of Priorities
Indeed a political philosophy can be easily written. Just like a script in the movies, you need a good platform and likewise a strong personality. Being in politics for the first time will teach you how to be more public relations oriented. In politics you need this if you are to get the nod and trust of voters in your area.
Your personal philosophy is bound to change when you are in politics. Some people are made for it, while others have to adjust accordingly. So if you think you can handle both worlds of personal and professional philosophies, you are bound to get a lot of sleepless nights doing it.
A person cannot be forced to follow another religion if he is not fully willing. We see the number of people shifting religious beliefs these days and you have to wonder if it is indeed wholeheartedly or just because their attention has been touched. Indeed, one may thing that religion is the last thing that people would qualm about. But sad to say, it has become an issue, especially if two people come from different sets.
Religious beliefs are rampant and different. There are certain standards and laws set forth to which religious philosophy always takes the heat. Indeed, it may seem like a petty thing but as far as taking their respective philosophies in consideration, you will be surprised at how it can escalate if the proper way to handle and mediate them is not done.
Let us take marriage for example. For every religion, there are beliefs to be followed. It can go as far the actual wedding ceremonies which for two people coming from different religions can be a cause for dispute. So how does one handle these situations?
There are instances where compromises are made. Sometimes, one of them even gives way. But as far as living together, unless one converts to the other, it will be quite a hellacious ride. This is not to say of course that these marriages will fail. They are merely cases wherein much of them is a reality.
Eventually, it all depends on how people would handle the gravity of such conflicts. For some it may not matter but for others, a lot has to be done and normally it goes as far as involving both families.
As far as trust in transactions or with the people on the Internet is concerned, it is pretty much even. The manner to which you can trust and negotiate online has so far been leveled these days, making them practically in equal footing as far as daily activities is concerned.
The Internet philosophy of bringing people closer and making life easier through various developments on communication and e-commerce has come a long way. Since its inception, a lot of changes have evolved. There are still a number of people who have their doubts on how to properly transact and deal with people over the web but much of these figures have obviously dwindled.
A lot has to do with how controlling bodies aimed at protecting the interest of most people transacting over the web has been developed. Fraud and scammers are still around but this time around they can be traced and jailed if they are not careful. Unlike before when cybercops were not around to make sure that fear or some form of authority would be there to assist most people, the story is different now.
Add to the fact that online companies have been assisted pretty well also. To make a transaction work, steps to ensure that there is no wild goose chase in the offing has further honed online shopping and business over the web today.
The Internet philosophy has indeed changed. These days, the web has been the prime resource to check out. This and more are expected to ensure that this philosophy is further honed and brightened for the people having doubts on the Internet and its laurels.
Sticking to your own belief, regardless if it is by profession or through personal reasons is something no one can take away from us. Personal philosophy does not need to be commercialized to prove that we are right. Our own theories are based on what we have already proven to ourselves and that alone is enough to stand by them. Unlike many, one’s philosophy does not need to be adopted by another. Personality and outlook of two people are different and hence will carry different philosophies as well.
Compare yourself with another person. Or better yet with your brothers or sisters. While you all come from the same parents, your values and personal beliefs will not always coincide. Experience and beliefs based on what you see in the course of your growth build different perspectives and apparently you will live on your own beliefs separately. Whatever principles and beliefs you may have does not always become logical for them since you both have different perceptions based on built philosophies in life.
To illustrate, just compare careers. If one follows a routine desk job, the other may want to follow a different perspective like perhaps a more people-oriented path such as politics or sales. Some call it rivalry while others just want to discover new ways outside the traditional and proven methods. It is all about building on new philosophies which are not proven yet. These are normally cases where a person wants to prove to himself and to others that other personal philosophies can make or break what they want to develop.
